Lonicera fragrantissima, white, 4-6'(ft)and then some! and as wide, December-February. We don't grow shrubs but this one we could not pass on!Anyways we call a woody perennial! We got a hold of this from Canyon Creek in 2004 because we thought we we're into Lonicera's and with the word fragrant in it and blooming during the winter, well they got us! So I've been enjoying this incredible vanilla smell during the winters since about '07-'08 when we had it in a pot in a hoop house and wheeew! this was better than a vanilla pie thrown in your face! So I planted it in the border and now its 5 feet high and 6 feet wide! This is crazy!, white tube-like flowers packed along leafless stems all winter.On warm sunny days a few open and mmmm...mmmm.good! During February when the weather begins to break they all open!March and April are followed by smooth, artitistic, arrow-head shaped leaves and even that is garnering attention.Sun,normal soil.z4
