Coreopsis tripteris, yellow, 48-72", July-September. Lance leaves along super tall, very stiff stems. Forms patches upwards of 4ft wide. Can actaully be grown in a half barrel where you can contain its form, then it will get super thick with tons of stems and you will have a movable show! Give it room if you put it in the ground, although the stems can be easily pulled up to keep it within boundaries. zone4.
