Myrtus communis ssp.tarentina `Variegata', white with pink tinge, 40-60", July-August. Narrow, glossy grey-green leaves edged white and cream. Flowers are followed by white berries on this rather than the usual purple fruits. Alhtough the height listed is generally what you find in its warm habitat, you can expect yours grown in a container here in PA, zone6, to at least 2-3ft! Nice! Cooler temps bring on a pink tinge to the leaves also. Slightly fragrant flowers. Crushed berried and leaves can be use as a spice for pork dishes during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
