Stachy minima, purple, 10-12", June-July. The best of the best. Chicago Botanic did not trial this species but it is EQUAL(=)+ in all characteristics required! We have a crop now that was produced in 2018, lack of customers and bloom(it got hot and Alan broke his shoulder so the bloom maintenance in a pot was lacking)but in 2020! these should bloom like CRAZY and be a year late in their promotion!
A landscape company used to use this as their #1 base plant! until the designer found a BETTER JOB!
