Geraniums Scented
PELARGONIUM. These plants are grown for their wide array of lively fragrances, flower colors, and shapes and texture of the foliage. Blooms are single in clear hues and pastels and are usually in clusters. LEAVES ARE USED in perfumes, potpourris, and FLAVORING for CAKES and JELLIES, cookies, ice-cream, kinds of butter, vinegar. Strongly recommended for indoor gardening and can be grown outside after the last frost and brought back in before the 1st frost in your area. Their growing requirements are few, tolerating occasional neglect, such as drying out. Good air circulation and NOT to be OVERWATERED! General heights are 18-24" and width can be up to 24-30" in diameter. All root easily from cuttings. zone10-11(for permanent outside growing). Any zone when brought out in summer and in for winter. The primary CILUNARY choices are Rose Scented and Lemon Scented varieties. Exceptional for making teas.
