RIPPLE EFFECT

Hosta `Ripple Effect' lavender with a hint of blue, 20", July-August. SMALLER than medium but In-between. Mounds 12"high by 15"wide. Leaves 6"long by 2"wide(5-6vp); greenish yellow; thin, medium blue-green margin; HEAVILY RIPPLED; way; elliptic. This just what you will SEA if you were to stand on the edge of lake and suddenly see a RIPPLE when no PEBBLE had been thrown(we called them "skipping stoned" or "skipping stones"! The ones that are flat, thrown side-armed and see how many times you can get to "skip like a fish" on top the water! Now for "serious" side effects!
