DREAM QUEEN

Hosta `Dream Queen', near white, 24", June-July. MEDIUM. A tissue culture sport of H.`Great Expectation' but not with a lot of further "expectation". Not much to "dream" about either. But non-the-less a beauty with all the characteristics of its parent which remained in the top 10 of popularity polls for years! Mounds 14"high by 30"wide(slow growth rate so be patient for it to get these dimensions of dementia!). Leaves 10"long by 8"wide; broadly ovate; thick substance; Differs from H."Great" having super wide blue-green margns and small creamy-yellow to white center. I didn't say thin center because it "bleeds" into the margin and each leaf varies in center thickness. Slow growth rate!
