HAKU CHU HAN

Hosta `Haku Chu Han', purple, 18", July. This is a white centered form of H.`Kabitan'. Registered by the AHS in 1986 as it was "floating around" without a registration. SMALL but robust. Narrow leaves. Again, the name came about because we misread the Japanese language(what's with all those lines and boxes?) Anyway the scholar, Watanabe, said we misread `Shiro Kabitan' and somewhere came up with `Haku Chu Han'. Hence our new, small, mutant Ninja hosta!
