MINUTEMAN(Bus Name 2006)

Hosta `Minuteman', pale lavender, tubular and striped, 18-30", June-July. MEDIUM. Mounds 24" wide by 12" high. Leaves 6" long by 4" wide(8-10vp); Registered as a `Francee' sport. It is different from, but similar to `Patriot'. The creamy-white margin is twice as wide as `Patriot'. The margin is smooth and the coloration of the leaf makes for a more dramatic contrast than its progenitor. The leaves are broadly ovate, corrugated, and cupped with good substance. This was a Bus Name during the 2006 National Convention that stopped by for the FAMOUS 300lb Pig Roast at Russell's!
