EL CAPITAN

Hosta `El Capitan', light lavender, 35-48", June-August. LARGE. Mounds 24" high by 40-42" wide. Leaves 10 1/2" long bu 9" wide(12vp); forest-gree centers with irregular cream-yellow margins, nearly round, THICK substance!, HEAVILY rugose (corrugated). This is a SPECIMEN plant that demands the title "The Captain"! of your hosta garden. (W.&E. Lachman,1987 revised in 2017.
