DOUBLED UP plantaginea

Hosta `Doubled Up', DOUBLE pure WHITE, 22-24", June-August. LARGE-MEDIUM. Mounds 20" high by 24" wide. Leaves 8" long by 6 1/2" wide(6-8vp); Sport of H.plantaginea, MORE COMPACT, leaves smaller, MORE SUBSTANCE, scapes shorter, FLOWERS WIDER and 10x MORE FRAGRANT (I should write 3x more fragrant as it's a tetraploid). Humongous flowers than can reach 6" long! Very shiny leaves, nearly round leaves, lighter green as all H.plantagineas are. (R.Solberg,2011 revised 2012, aka `Double Up'.
