TRULY AN HONOR(OS!! x 10)(Not For Sale)

Hosta `Truly An Honor', near-white, 30", July-August. LARGE. Mounds 16" high by 40" wide. Leaves 10"long by 8"wide, ovate-shaped, thick substance, heavily corrugated, VERY BLUE spring through blooming! NOT AVAILABLE in the trade. One-time "run"(offering) to Hosta societies each spring for their Spring Hosta Sale. This GIFTED to Delaware Valley Hosta Society March 2019 sale! Jeff sent me 25 to grow fast for the sale. Without being labeled NO ONE thought anything of it! NONE SOLD! even after they reduced the price to $5.00 a plant! Aaaargh! SO: they were returned to me! Named `Truly An Honor' as Jeff felt it was and still is TRULY AN HONOR to grow and hybridize/select hosta AND to GIFT 25 to a Society each year as an EXCLUSIVE hosta. In this case, he yet had to "nail down" the name and not registered but he DID KNOW it would be named Truly an Honor! ORIGINATOR STOCK received Feb-Mar 2019 for April 2019 DVHS spring hosta sale.
