MOUNTAIN SNOW

Hosta `Mountain Snow', lavender, 40", July. LARGE. Mounds 27" high by 68"wide. Leaves 14"long by 8" wide(13vp), green with a white margin that often streaks into the leaves. Vase-shaped growth habit. The margin will jettison into the patty veins randomly creating a mesmerizing leaf. Ovate, arrow-shaped leaves. Medium substance. This comes from a batch of green tissue culture stuff when Q&Z was T&Z back in 1988 and from a green batch of H.montana! (Mark Zilis and T&Z, 1988. Sport of H.montana`Aureomarginata') Stock is gifted from Christopher Gussman 21 June 2018. Streaking is limited/minimal in my specimen but can be culled to show better.
