GINSU KNIFE

Hosta `Ginsu Knife', pure WHITE!, 32-34", July-August. MEDIUM. Mounds 14" high by 28" wide. Leaves 10" long by 4" wide(6vp); fountain-shaped, leaves are very wavy and the Ginsu Knife part is the serrated edges(irregularly white margined, capable of occasional streaking although there is one registered as `Ginsu Knife Supreme' which is a stable streaked form! Lance-shaped (knife-shaped) leaves. Moderately twisted, arching (fountain-like when the water goes up then arches outwards and falls on you creating a refreshing cooling off). (R.Solberg. 2002.
