CAROLINA BLUE

Hosta `Carolina Blue', pale purple, 26", August. MEDIUM-LARGE. Mounds 16"high by 35"wide. Leaves 8"long by 5 1/4"wide. Deep blue in spring, a shiny medium-green by summer. Ovate shaped, slightly wavy; thick substance; moderate underside bloom. (2000, Bob Solberg. H.`Halcyon' x H.`Riptide'). Good for a blue!, multiplies efficiently, stays blue up to, just until bloom.
