Hosta `Goober', purple, 16", July-August. SMALL. Mounds 8-10"high by 20-24"wide. Leaves 4"long by 3"wide(6vp); SUPER puckered, shiny, lightly cupped, SUPER corrugated; nearly rounds, deep dark forest green leaves. Looks like a peanut-shell! Cover it in chocolate and you have `Goober'!. Thick substance. What a coincidence, it's actually a tissue culture sport of `Peanut'?! (2009, Mark Zilis)
