STREAKED KROSSA REGAL(OS!!)

Hosta `Streaked Regal'(Streaked Krossa Regal), medium lavender, 30", July-August. RARE in the trade to find a good specimen! LARGE. S port of `Gold Regal' BUT being streaked throughout the leaf with white. Our stock has the `Krossa Regal' bluish leaf with the white streaking. Got ahold of a plant in 2007 from Bob Kuk during the AHS convention held in Indianapolis. Mounds 28" high by 30"wide, semi-upright like its parent. Leaves 11"long by 6" wide(12vp); ovate-shaped, slightly wavy, smooth textured, thick underside bloom. Ours hasn't quite got that high since we acquired it. Because we've grown it in a pot/container ever since to try and keep a hold on it. Also, we cull out the eyes that don't seem to have as strong a STREAKING. The streaking fades late in the season, that's when we get people picking it up thinking it's `Krossa Regal' regular until they get to the office and get STICKER SHOCK!(Kukl, NR, 2002)Stock from Bob Kuk AHS Convention and another from Ran Lydell at Tri-State auction.
