RASPBERRY SORBET

Hosta `Raspberry Sorbet', purplish-red, 12-20", August-September. SMALL-medium. Dense mounds 12"high by 34"wide. Fast growth rate. Leaves 7"long by 3 3/4"wide(8vp);oblong-ovate, heavily rippled, medium green, SHINY!, BRIGHT RED petioles! Shiny underneath also; average substance. This is a HEADturner in bloom! 1st because it blooms so late but the flowers are really dark purple near red! and carried on red scapes! Above the super shiny leaves this is a raspberry sorbet ALL THE WAY! Literally the color of the ice cream! The growth rate is unbeatable.
