JANE WARD(OS!!)Not For Sale

Hosta `Jane Ward', pale purple flowers on creamy white scapes, 18-20", July. MEDIUM. Mounds 14-16"high by 24-43"wide of green-margined(1-2"wide margin)leaves with a center that change from yellow to creamy white during the season. They are actually STREAKED but when registering it they used the margin type of description. Leaves are 8-12.5"long by 6-8.75"wide(7-14vp); moderately shiny, slightly rippled, slightly corrugated.(1999, D.& J. Ward. H.`Pin Stripe Sister' seedling). Our stock comes direct from Dick and Jane Ward as they offered a prime specimen to the 2008 AHS convention auction held in St.Louey. And GUESS WHO bid on it?, and bid on it, AND bid on it, until it WAS HIS? I think that president is still on those "bills" I had to use?
