Hosta rectifolia `Silver Star', purple, 26", August-September. MEDIUM. Mounds 18"high by 36"wide. Very upright habit. Forms thick clumps thru rhizomes that creep eye-to-eye and some an inch apart. Green centered with nice white margin occasionally streaking into the center. Leaves 7 3/4"long by 4 1/4"wide(8-9vp). Long upright stems with an elliptic leaf at their ends(top).Smooth textured. Good substance, medium slow growth rate.
