Hosat `Miki', lavender, 28-30", July-August. LARGE. ense mounds 22"high by 60"wide of medium gold foliage. Leaves 12"long by 8.5"wide(14vp); ovate-shaped, slightly corrugated, slightly wavy; thick substance. This was specially produced thru tissue culture as the free hosta plant for the 2005 National Convention in Ohio. There were 4 of us Russell's and our sons' best friend Mike Wass, makes 5. Where the 4 other ones are, haven't a clue! But we plant one in the display garden for the 2006 National Convention and it grew beautifully as memebrs made their way from one grilling station to another until finally ending up at he PIG ROAST! All 500lbs equipped with containers to go! Even mini wine coolers many stuffed in their carry-ons for the bus ride to other gardens!
