SWOOSH

Hosta `Swoosh', bright purple, 24", August. MEDIUM. Mound 14"high by 34"wide of highly variable, heavily streaked foliage with leaves 7.5"long by 3.5"wide(7vp). Long, narrow leaves, smooth-textured, and thin substance. This is one for the collector. Culling out greener leaves is full time(seasonly). The best specimans are of course the most streaked leaves. Mark Zilis' encyclopedia lists the various colors the leaves may be and seem to be o.k., which they are. Just don't let the whole clump go ALL green on ya!
