REGAL RHUBARB

Hosta `Regal Rhubarb', purple, 48", July-August. LARGE. Mounds 26"high by 47"wide of very vase shaped, bright green foliage; deeply red petioles; thin underside bloom. Leaves 14"long by 9 1/4"wide; slightly wavy, ovate-shaped and moderately corrugated as the clump matures(spends more years in your garden or collection). Although hosta leaves are edible don't mistake this for REAL Rhubarb and make a pie out of it. The Urgent Care Center may not have a remedy for your belly pains! other than maybe eat a H.`Peanut'! or another pie, H.`Honey Pie'!
