Hosta `Leading Lady', lavender, 40-48", July. LARGE. Mounds 28"high by 67"wide; leaves dark green in the center with a 1/8"wide yellow margin; leaves 13"long by 11"wide(15vp); broadly ovate, moderately wavy, slightly corrugated, and thick-substance. Flowers are of size, 2 5/8"long by 2"wide!. Good growth rate. Just an outright good hosta. May simply look like others to the undiscerning eye but its characteristics make it 1st choice if you introduce someone to the "friendship" plant.(1995,Jim & Jill Wilkins,sport of a `William Lachman'seedling)
