Purple, 19", July.Small dense mound 11"high by 32"wide of leaves 4 3/8"long by 2 7/8"wide, slightly wavy, smooth textured, whitish shiny leaf underside.Heavy bloomer.A ton of scapes and nice purple flowers brings this hosta to light.Jack "Craig" found this plant growing on a tree in a temple in Kyoto, Japan in 1968. Apparently, the "temptation" was too great, and a division of it made it back to the US!
