TOY TRUMPETS(yellow mini flower)

Hemerocallis `Toy Trumpets', yellow self, 33", June, 2.62"flower. Cinsidered a "mini" for its flower size not the height. We HAD TO GET this to start our "obsession"(just "nutiness")with miniature daylilies. We got a good start on the "monsters"! THIS ONE IS THE BEST OF THE BEST in 2016! #1 choice by convention attendees during their garden tous of BEST CLUMP in a garden= 1st place/BLUE ribbon Presidents Cup Award 2016,Outstanding of all clumps observed by attendees of the National Convention garden tours! Who-hooo! I must say its a beauty in all desired attributes; clean, pure self for color with subtle back flower color!, arching, thick clump of clean upright, vase shaped foliage, super branched scapes, multiplies well to form dense clumps. In this society of Daylily "crazies" if you can get 300 out of 600 attendees to vote on ONE single dayliliy for an AWARD! Look-out, THEY MEAN it's GOOD! (Sobek, 1984. `Corky'x `Purity') And it's been around awhile! So don't worry about getting old, the OLD is the new NEW! Sound the trumpets my good fellows, let the derby begin!
