EENIE ALLEGRO

Hemerocallis `Eenie Allegro', apricot edge rose with chartreuse throat, 13", July. Flower 2.5"wide. Winter dormant. Diploid. Short, dwarf for anywhere in the garden. The shorter ones are catching on because you can plant them in your border along the house. They are not all tall. And they aren't planted around the outhouse like the old days. Back when we had one grandma called the ,"Outhouse lily" 'cause we had 'em planted around the outhouse! I guess it helped keep the "odor" down? Nice small flowered and short stature. Lots of buds, well branched(Aden,1981)
