DESCHAMPSIA caespitosa

Deschampsia caespitosa, Dark green foliage in dense clumps 12-24"tall. Inflorescences create a cloudlike appearance. Clump forming and tufted. Flowers produced June-July and persist all summer thru fall. Flowers stand stiff above the clumps to 48" and slowly dry to a golden-straw color. Excellent for mass plantings and commercial use.
