Epimedium x `Windfire', canary yellow with dark red sepals, 20", April-May. Wiry, black-red flower spikes rise ABOVE the foliage carrying large flowers with thin reflexed spurs. Slightly spreading and open habit. Rhizomes can grow up to 4"a year. SEMI-EVERGREEN. Although flowering at a distant height this has the appearance of little and is included in the "Fairy Collection" of epimediums. A 2007 Cobblewood introduction. Cc002114
