RUE

Perennial with woody stems and greenish blue delicate foliage growing 2-3ft. Yellow flowers in clusters from June to August. Pungent odor not agreeable to many noses. Use the dried seedpods and leaves for flower arrangements. Kept in the home or work as symbol for good luck in Latin culture. Can be toxic if used internally and often causes irritation on contact with skin. Likes full sun and tolerates poor well-drained soil
