tri.Blackjack Gold

Rudbeckia triloba `Blackjack Gold', yellow, 36", June-October. From Jelitto Seeds comes this selection with rounder petals, more button-like and puffy (Seinfeld) black cone! Noticably branched as opposed to the species that send up one stem or several but are not branched. And what caught my "attention"!, longer lived!? Even though the species you will have FOR-EVER I am hoping this mother plant returns. When I/you grow them in a POT the mother plant dies after flowering and tons of seedlings abound! I have seen the same seedling return from a fall sowing/drop! but generally a 1 year turnaround. SUPER RELIABLE are both strains? I've seen r.triloba `Prairie Glow" come back in several gardens and becomes SPECTACULAR! (Seinfeld).
"Black-Jack" paying off in gold? I would chance it! "Hit me" (I think that's what you say when you want "The Dealer" to give you another card? Sun, super hardy to zone 4 and even 3 on re-seed.
