Polygonatum falcatum `Pumilla', yellowish-green, 8-12", April-May. Dwarf form of solomon's seal. Oblong, narrow, pointed leaves. Flowers appear between their axiles dangling along slightly arched stems. Woodland must-have. We obtained this as seed from Jelitto as P.humille in 2002 although after germination clearly not that of P.humille. The leaves are pale with a silverish hue, oblong-pointed, about 2"long, and the flowers are typical flowers of P.falcatum. The height has not exceeded 12". Nice patches are formed from rhizomes. High canopy shade, and shade, average to most soils. zone 5
