MILKMAID

Hosta `Milkmaid', lavender, 13-15", June-July. MEDIUM. Mounds 12"high by 20"wide. Leaves 5"long by 3 1/2"wide(6-7vp); streaked white! like "spilled milk" only better like the maid cleaning up the spilled milk! The registration is all over the attempt to describe this! medium green streaked with light green, creamy white, pale yellow with green and white speckling; slightly rippled; slightly shiny on top and underneath?; moderately wavy?; corrugated; ovate(round). Oh my goodness! Just spill a glass of milk on your green vinyl floor and you got the maid coming in to mop it up! And! making shine when she's done! There's another take on this that I can not publish for re-sale purposes! Then at the end it says: Notable characteristics! And that's not of the cup sizing rather one of "good substance and streaked". (J.Harvey, 2012) The boyz of Naylor Creek put this out there so we can all have a piece sooner or later.
