Lespedeza liukiunsis `Little Volcano', purple,pink,and near red, 48-72"(4-6ft), September-October. Like flowing lava having several shades of that molten-fire colors, so does this unique "Bush Clover"! The name also infers its habit for being very upright. Still cascading-like flowers trusses but down to the ground as most. A sterile form within the "Bush Clover"s so no chance of this showing up anywhere other than where you planted it. Blue-gray foliage becomes straw-yellow in fall similar to Amsonia hubrechtii. The flowers appear in racemes resembling pea-like flowers.
