JUNE(2001 HoY)

Hosta `June', bluish-lavender, 24", July-August. MEDIUM. Mounds 16"high by 37"wide. Leaves 6"long by 4"wide with 1/8" to 3/4" wide blue margin. Gold centered; ovate-shaped, smooth textured, thick substance, thick underside bloom. Sport of H.`Halcyon' from tissue culture. Continues to rank in top 10 in popularity polls! Every hosta garden I've seen in my life has a `June' in it. It is often the standard when ooohing and aaahing other specimans. This has a great growth rate and presence for any use desires. Speciman, border, massing.
