HALCYON

Hosta `Halcyon', bluish-lavender, 28", July-August. MEDIUM. Mounds 18"high by 43"wide. Deep blue leaves 8"long by 5 1/2"wide. Thick rubbery substance. Ovate-arrow shaped leaves; smooth, thick underside bloom. Blue-green late season. This is the "Holy Grail" of blue hostas. Its H.tardiana x H.sieboldiana parentage is 2nd to none! Great anywhere you put it. The best blue for landscape, border, massing, single. Again, anyone trying a hosta for the 1st time must get this and they will forever be hooked on the "Friendship Plant".
