Hosta `Gold Drop', medium lavender, 15-21", June-July. SMALL to just below MEDIUM. Mounds 12"high by 33"wide of dense chartreuse to gold foliage. Leaves 5 1/2"long by 3 7/8"wide. Maintains its color throughout the season even intensifying. Heart-shaped leaves. Excellent growth rate forming super thick clumps quickly. The best chartreuse-gold for edging, border, and ground covering. Very floriferous. Hybrid of H.venusta x H.`August Moon'.(1977 Ken Anderson)
