Hosta `American Halo', lavender, 18-20", June-July. LARGE. Mounds 22"high by 70"wide. Leaves 14"long by 10"wide(19vp); Sport of .`Northern Halo', intensely blue in spring with a creamy white margin; rippled. Slow multiplier. For Original Stock we should probably ask for $70.00! But NOT!
Van Wade has plenty but after 20 years! I would add corrugated, thick. Spectacular. Too much sun, could get a "sun-burn". NOT TO BE CONFUSED with H.`American Hero'! And NOT H.`Northern Halo'(which is the weak parent! does get sun-burnt easily). From van Wade! 27 Jul'17!
