EAGLE'S NEST(OS!)

Hosta `Eagles's Nest', lavender, 14-16", June-July. MEDIUM. Sport of H.`Sum and Substance' but much slower growing and MUCH smaller than its parent. Twice as thick leaves, twice as puckered and corrugated, and very bird's-nest-shaped, cupped. Mounds 18" high by 30"wide. Leaves 12"long by 10"wide(12-14vp); medium green; golden-yellow margin; rippled; shiny on top. (R. Lydell, 2000) Original Stock from Elim Hosta(Owen & Sue Purvis)9/14/17! AND how can we not spend whatever it takes to land this one?
