AMERICAN HERO

Hosta `American Hero', lavender, 12-20", June-July. purple, 12-20", June-July. MEDIUM. Mounds 14"high by 25"wide. Leaves 6"long by 3 1/2"wide(6-7vp); white center with green speckles; darker green margin; TWISTED(and that's not your sister!); well folded; ovate(if you can see this thru all the twisting and folding); petiole is green-edged white! If ya haven't figured out what a petiole is, check your dictionary. A petiole edged white? WOW! But that's only if you remember to notice it after this American hero comes home!
