Hosta `Plum Pudding', purple, 20-22", August-October. Medium-large. mounds 16"high by 24"wide. Leaves 8"long by 7"wide(9vp); dark green; rippled; shiny on top; shiny underneath; lightly cupped; wavy; nearly round; petiole is DARK PURPLE on both side and into the leaf blade! Very thick substance!. This has a vase-shaped kinda growth habit and all you seem to see is "plum pudding" fantasies throughout! (R.Solberg, 20111.
