PURE HEART

Hosta `Pure Heart', lavender-blue with darker veins, 6-10", June-July. MINI. Sport of `Blue Mouse Ears'. Mounds 3"high by 5"wide(that's small!). Leaves 2.25"long by 1.5"wide(5-7vp); blue-green margin; flat; broadly ovate. Thick, heavy substance as is with the "Mouse Ears". This with white centers and blue margins. By the time it blooms the centers are white. Spring they emerge a creamy-yellow. (Walters gardens, 2009. A TC sport of H.`Blue Mouse Ears') Beeeutiful! I'm NOT "a mouser" but I'm ALL in for this one! Phify in Philly 2018 and Warren is showing us what it's ALL ABOUT! The MOUSE EARS collection AND beyond by one Canadian member! Although looks like "the rest" it makes ya think why is it so PURE?. My "take"? is that mid-late season this becomes a PURE WHITE WHETHER IT'S FROM THE heart OR not! So we just got this in from Land of the Giants, August, 2017, but they do grow mini's! Just go on Line and get a Quote on time! Or! Save it in a CART! Because these Mouse's ARE "tricky to acquire". So we "cheated" and "pulled" off an eye that was attached to a small crown mother, they bigger eye was "still-off-the-crown"original maybe? But just LIKE I DID IT! I "sneaked the "little eye outgrowth eye" and "MADE IT ITs OWN"!
So! now I have 2 PURE hearts to go with the 1st! I just "revisted" my own "brochure" on my own WEB. See THAT CENTER? That BECOMES PURE WHITE by summer! Enough to have a "H-attack" if ya let it "get to ya"!
