Hosta `Prairie Moon', lavender, 19", August-October. Medium-large. Mounds 16"high by 31"wide. Leaves 9 1/2"long by 7"wide(10-11vp); Yellow, kinda golden, and in heavy shade, chartreusey; slightly shiny; good glaucous bloom underneath; lightly wavy; petioles are flecked with red spots. The flowers are extra long, bell-shaped, 2"long. Very bright yellow when emerging in spring. Upward and somewhat vase shape to show off the petioles(stems". (H.Hansen, 2007.
