WISHING WELL

Hosta `Wishing Well', near white, 26-29", July-August. LARGE. Mounds 23"high by 38"wide. Leaves 11"long by 9"wide. Intensely blue in spring, blue-green by summer. Ripples, thick underside bloom, intensely cupped(nearly as cupped as H.`Abiqua Drinking Gourd'), intensly wavy, super corrugated!, nearly round. The flower scape in intensely blue! I would not be surprised if the name comes the "wishing well" you have in front of your house as a "lawn ornament" because this grows as well in 2/3rds day of sun! WITHOUT scorching!.
