BLUE JAY(OS!)

Hosta `Blue Jay', very pale lavender, 18-20", July. MEDIUM. Mounds 16"high by 35"wide. Leaves 6"long by 4"wide(11vp); deep, very blue foliage, heart-shaped leaves, thick-substance, and covered with a thick underside bloom(backs of leaves are real chalky-white!). This is one of the best blues. A top 5 for holding its blue color well into the season. (1987. Ralph H.Benedict.
