Hosta `Gilt by Association', pale bluish lavender, 25", August-September. MEDIUM. Mounds 16"high by 42"wide. Leaves 8 1/2"long by 4 1/2"wide(8-9vp) of golden yellow foliage. Bright in spring but continues to hold thru summer. Margin moderately rippled with a twisted tip that often curls under! Beat that! for an unusual characteristic!. Narrowly ovate; reddish petioles. Petioles are noticeable as the habit is somewhat upright. Flowers are significantly large,3"long by 1 2/"wide, that they hang on the scapes like bells! (2000, K.Walek.
