TAMBOURINE

Hosta `Tambourine', pale purple, 20-30", July-August. MEDIUM-LARGE. Mounds from 13" high to 22"high by 24-56"wide. Leaves 8-15"long by 6"wide(7-10vp) of green center and creamy white margin. Margin is 1'wide; leaf blade ovate-shaped, slightly wavy, slightly corrugated, and covered with a thin underside bloom; better than average substance; reddish purple dots on the petioles. Fast growth rate. A great bordering hosta, make a ring of `Tamborine's, or just play along with one in your musical collection of hostas. (1987, William & Eleanor lachman.
