STEVE MOLDOVAN(OS!!x10)

Hosta `Steve Moldovan', near-white, 36-39", June-July. LARGE. Mounds 29"high by 76"wide of SUPER THICK, heavily corrugated, blue foliage. Blue-green midseason and dark green by end of season(late summer); leaves a whopping 13 1/2"long by 12"wide(18-19vp); shape nearly rotund(round), cupped, a bit unruly?(leaves come up all over, not the perfect mushroom shape we think when we say "mound"); moderate underside bloom.(2004, Rachel Soucek. hybrid of `Blue Vision' x `Fantastic') Named after a great hosta and daylily hybridizer from Ohio. Me and my dad are blessed to have seen his garden during the AHS convention held in Ohio, 2007. Our stock comes from Van Wade, a personal friend of Steve.
