RHAPSODY in BLUE

Hosta `Rhapsody in Blue', pale purple, 24", August-September. MEDIU. Mounds 15"high by 40"wide. Leaves 9 1/2"long by 8"wide(10-11vp); very wavy, blue-green. Blue in spring, blue-green by late season. Leaf broadly ovate-shaped; smooth-textured; thick-substance, and covered with thick underside bloom. A great one to have for being blue, thick and LATE bloom. With the right picks you can have your hosta garden/collection bloom from early June thru October. This one is not just for the late bloom but blue leaves, fragrant, flowers are nicely striped and tubular. (R.Bendecit, 1995. H.rupifraga seedling)
