Hosta `Red Stepper', pale purple, 20", August. MEDIUM. Dense mounds of VERY SHINY, medium to dark green leaves; mounds 15"high by 42"wide with leaves 8.5"long by 5"wide(8vp); wavy, whitish shiny undersides, smooth textured; The standout in this hosta is the INTENSE RED petioles(stems) and flower stems. Good substance. Leaves tend to arch revealing the petioles!(1996, G.R.Goodwin. Introduced by Naylor Creek in 2000. `Invincible' seedling)
